A topic on Euthanasia
[Introduction]
Euthanasia

Euthanasia is a difficult topic to discuss and a tough decision to ultimately make. People who are in extreme pain and constricted to bed rest because of a terminal illness have the choice to be relieved from pain. Family members also have the choice to wait it out, depending on how severe the situation is. But, would you want to be constricted to a bed and in pain? Yes, it is a tough decision. However, not every single person who is terminally ill is in pain. Euthanasia is a way out for someone who is in pain. There is one issue that always comes up which is if the intention of the family member is a good one or a bad one. Some family members have bad intention and sometimes decide to chose euthanasia, not to help their family member, but because they have greed. They either want the will that might provide them with millions of dollars or the lovely house they are leaving behind. Whatever the choice is, Euthanasia comes down to one common idea. Both sides to the argument understand that there is an actual human’s life on the line. The sides are just conflicted by whether it is the “right thing to do”. For some people it may be their mother or father in the situation who they love dearly. But, for others it could just be a family member whom they don’t care for. At any point the facts come down to whether to keep them alive and see if they will get better or not. It is a very tough decision to make. Depending on your beliefs and who that terminally ill person is will be the way that the family member will be making the decision to use euthanasia or not. It’s up to you.
