Damn is it just me or is any one else tired of hearing bad news on the TV all the time

-I know something good has got to be happening somewhere but all I hear about is crime

Thats what’s prime time is about why because good news is not what keeps your interest

-It’s better to hear about cut backs and lay off or some plants going out of business

Seriously is that what makes the world go round tragedy and destruction every single day

-Nothing positive at all that’s why at six o’clock I turn my channel the other way

I don’t want to hear about how many children got killed by their mother, man that’s depressing

-Tell me about some mother or father raising their kids right and teaching them good lessons

But that ain’t no news why, because that’s what “supposed” to happen

-So I’m supposed to listen to you tell me about child abuse, welfare and how the economy is crashing

Tell me about the people doing good in their communities, the ones that give back and bring joy

-But I got to constantly hear about a preacher who may have had a relationship with some
young boys

When a natural disaster strikes the news cameras are the first on the scene when the destruction is over

-Telling you how many people are dead and how many homes have been lost and your heart just grows colder

Tell me about the relief team and how many people have been saved during these situations

-All the people that volunteer to restore these places, that’s when the news is on vacation

I’m not knocking your job at all, I just want you to do a better job with good news and giving the people some hope

-The last story of the night is the best story of the night, I guess thats you leaving us on a good note

I don’t watch it all and being an airman that makes things even harder

-You will hear about the killing first, but the lives that are saved that gets pushed to the back of the charter

That is the news though because them good headlines don’t make the top of the list

-But you want to interview someone that is picketing outside a soldiers funeral what kind of bullshit is this

So I say fuck the news until they begin to give us some news to uplift our spirits

-I should just start a good news channel 24/7 and see how many people want to hear it
