Will you stop now?
The error in your ways is now brought to light.
Wanting to deny the truthyou intend to fight.
Your catastrophic way of living that leeches life from others.
Has been curtailed, postponed, derailed ...
Why not just run for cover?
Who was wrong in Hiroshima?
And Nagasaki, did you have a choice?
How drastically our lives would change
If we all really had a voice.
Your time had come,
You pulled the short stick.
So many cliches to say "You got licked."
Yes many did die in the horrible blast.
But what of those you massacred in the past?
Our unity will never erase
This nation's ugly, hated face.
I feel the sadness, yet no remorse.
Now is when we must choose discourse.
