I found this in an old folder. I wrote it out of spite for the guy I liked.
Verse 1:

Everyone has a time,
Where they hate life.
Sitting there waiting,
For the one to come.
And they fell too hard.
And now, they’re done.

Refrain:

Now they’re done,
Sitting there watching
Him fall for your friend.
Them laughing and talking,
When you’re on the end,
Of their line of love,
And that’s,
Too hard to watch,

Verse 2:

You realize
That he’s played your emotions.
Wanting you to play,
But you can’t be a winner,
So you tell yourself,
“Let him play her,
But you ain’t playing
Monopoly no more.”

Refrain

Bridge:

You’re falling and falling
While they’re pleadin’ and pleadin’
Saying “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”
You know they don’t mean it and
You look him
Right in his eyes and say:

Ending

“No I’m done
Sitting there watching
You fall for her,
You laughing and talking
When I’m on the end
Of your line of love
And you’re…
Too hard to love
    Hard to play
    Hard to leave
    Hard to stay
And too…
    Hard to watch
