Relationships, families, friendships are all glass made.
Relationships, families, friendships are all glass made.

Glass can be easily broken, but it takes time,

to glue the pieces all back together.

Because it was one small mistake we made,

now we are faced with a floor full of broken glass.

We get, scrapped, bruised and hurt as we try,

to patch back the glass which once was breathtaking.

But, even if we rebuild the broken glass, it can easily break again and again.

We met for a reason, we were brought together for a reason,

we were made to be together for a reason.

But, if we don’t treasure the gift, the bonds, the blessing.

Treating what we have for granted, then the glass will shatter.

Its easy to meet someone you can exchange hearts with,

its easy to meet someone to talk to, heart to heart.

But, to keep and protect that is even harder than when we met.

If we can protect the glass to the very end,

then it will become the most elegant and priceless crystal of our lives.

But, if we don’t treasure and protect it,

then the glass will break on impact and shatter to a thousand pieces.

Then, we are left with nothing but deep regret and pain.

Glass is meant to be protected and guarded well,

because you must keep in mind.

You may never be able to find a better piece of glass again.

Before, you cause harm to that piece of glass,

you must ask yourself and take a step back.

Is this what you want to do?

Is there really no other way around this?

Are you really willing to break this glass and suffer,

the consequences awaiting for you?

To meet, to know, to exchange hearts, to love,

to trust each other with their lives.

Its a long step and long time process which no one can rush at.

If you rush or harm the bonds, then the glass will crack.

A small crack will turn into a large crack and then break completely down.

So, please please, treasure what you have before you,

don’t allow it to wither away or break in your possession.

Building a glass piece may be easy, but rebuilding,

what is lost or damaged is harder and might take a lifetime…

Treasure what you have and never allow it to wither away,

for your own sake and the ones entwined with you as well.
