If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain -Dickinson
(to stop a heart from breaking)

If we are mere kindred spirits
Lost and found on this stormy sea,
I can no more than now be more complete;
For when death takes your earthly toll,
Emptiness will steal half my soul,
Like blackness just beyond the flame
Burning to ward winter's claim;
And should the world shun all I knew of you,
'Tis but your fire I will remember true.
