Part II piece written by a Muslim woman who found her identity, wearing a hijab
I Don't want to be a Hijabee! II

I don't want to be a hijabee
It's not for me.
I like the cool mist of the wind that blows through my hair.
I get to share; myself with the world, uncovered, exposed,
Let it be known that I'm grown?
My clothes wrapping me so tight,
Oh, my G'd, my G'd a beautiful a sight!
My thighs, propped up high. I get to be realized?
Yeah, that's right,
I'm so fly.
Fittin' perfectly inside.
Nobody will realize me, because I'm not a hijabee!
Avoiding the criticisms, lies, bigotry, and race hate,
I get to escape and be a fake?
I'm an undercover Muslima unidentified like an alien from a space ship landed on earth Inhabiting it; is this it?
Every time, I turn my head, I can't ignore,
In my neighborhood shops and the grocery stores,
And on the tv, newspaper stands, the internet, and documentaries?
Islam, it is said to have caused so much injuries?
This is such fallacy for those of us who isn't blind, and can see,
Islam is a religion of total peace, and security.
It's clear about a hijab and covering my "shame",
For me to stop the hijab blame game.
In Surah 7:26,
Is there an ayat (verse) better then this?
An Ayat in Surah the Light,
G'd Speaks of modesty and guarding, and He's right!
(The Clans, The Coalition, the Combined Forces) in Surah 33:59?,
When G'd told the Prophet Muhammad with no compulsion,
Tell his "wives and daughters" and the "believing women"
To followed the scribes that they were given.
I, I said, "I wanna be a hijabee, because it's the right thing for me!"
Inshallah!
