On reality and the dreams it creates
Water
Drowning
swallowing water- green, chlorine... filling mouth...sinking...flailing,

Seeing the surface, but being unable to reach it-
bullying water pressing down on ribcage. The pain is a drug, psychedelic, better than any narcotic

Best friends that never age, clad in green and cream plaid uniforms, white ribbons in braided hair, Abiba and the other- school children standing in a circle, an oyinbo boy screaming in pidgin, a crowded staircase that never ends, keeps going up and up and up- saving a comrade who laughs that he didn't need to be saved. He was flirting with a girl, on a higher rung of the staircase, fought through bodies to get to him, almost died and he said he didn't need saving, but so sure, he said it was

A hallucination with a mac computer with a broken LCD screen, the owner is upset, but not too much and behind her, through the plastic window, falling on cement roads, the parked Nissans, rows of houses - are pelts of snow and frost in August

Sisters- younger and older, a child and an adolescent, an infection that spreads through the world born from a relationship built on lies. A lone man struggles to maintain order- the evil is an infection spread by touch, spit? He said it came from an artifact- they both wanted it , but how many can you cuff, how many can you place in handcuffs, lock behind closed doors? It is difficult. They catch him, but he reveals the truth. And the sisters fall into the water- into
