May angels touch you - God inspire you - and empathy engulf you. |
Oh, do not tremble in the storms - they're water for the yews, And there's a secret hidden here alive with many hues. And should a growling thunder roar - but whisper back and say, I Thank-You for the message sent, it scripts what I must pray. And if the lightning rents the sky - but gently wait its' pace, For you are nestled warm and sure within a pure embrace. And when the breath of heaven near - would stir a whirling wind, Breathe deep this breath of angels wings to guide you on again. And if above the waters flow - and whets your soul in tears, Bathe in the dew of dawn that comes to draw the rainbows near. Within the well of every storm - there lies a tender hand, That holds you close and heals your soul and warms the golden sand. If we but love - instead of judge - we're richer for the choice, We paint the palette of our hearts to heed a greater voice. I've walked in rain that I might know - another's journey there, Oh Bless me with your wisdom now and greater tones of care. For I have seen God quiet storms - when faced with such a plea, Please grant me deeper shades of love and hues of empathy. No, do not tremble in the storms - when rainbows beckon you, But weave a tapestry of light and majesty renewed. |
