Endless Fight

another endless fight, making an attempt to proceed with valiant flight

demons and evil spirits tempt and draw me near

while beautiful angels calm my never ending fears

these spirits take over my impressionable young mind

and many don't understand the mind of this cynical kind

i must stand my ground and not give in to temptations

yet all of this confusion is causing me complications

my intuition keeps telling me to follow my heart

I should have known better than to get this deep from the start

but among all my family and many friends

their love never seems to end

they keep me standing and won't let me fall

if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be here at all

and as i lay here on these long seasonal nights

I continually think about my endless fight
