Weep


Looking up from my tear soaked pillow
out of my window stands a lone weeping willow
when a thought comes up in a slow creep
why doe the lone weeping willow weep?
what makes this beauty shed unwanted tears?
is it like ii who has been abused through the years?
or does it think about what others fear?
what is withheld behind the bark of this tree?
too many years of people airing their dirty laundry?
anything that can be dated back a quarter century
or is it just another lost soul dying to be free?
although the reason is very pure
mother nature has left the answer quite unsure
weather it be awake or be it asleep
may the answer come from way down deep
so don't just sit there, get up and be a sleuth
dig down deep and bring forth the truth!!
