Poemish rap thing?
strings of rain entwined on the road
as the night curves blank
and the night falls
still
my thoughts of you screeching
and spattered
and as my wheels turn right
I think where did the days go wrong
you ran away so it’s just me now
driving
I sputter and shake
as the smooth road hums beneath me
and people have nightmares like this
the way you left me
turning the wheel to some radio tune
while you forget me
and sometimes I wonder
if this night keeps me alive
or asleep
and if the breaths
I take when I fall on my knees
make me strong or weak
but you know who you are
in your so called reality
no memory
as I shift between accelerate
and brake
on the even street
