A Life Gone Bad

As the baby is born
And an innocent life is made
It ages to have a thorn
As its own family begins to fade

First goes the father
Struck down by cancer
Then goes the mother
Dead without an answer

As the woman goes through her life
With neither mother or father
She thinks about killing herself with a knife
But decides to get married and make a son and daughter

As they all age
They are all she has in life
She hopes they will continue to turn the page
As she drops the knife

As everyones life goes on
They all throw a party in celebration of her 87th birthday
But a gasoline leak in the house makes them all gone
Giving her shock in the very worst way

In her shock, she fainted
Leaving her closest family surrounding her
And the police entered and they thought her corrupted
That the only possible story was that she poisoned her own family for sure
