Rain

Thunder in the distance warned me.

Lightning from the sky told me it was coming...

The smell in the air let me know it was near..

I ran for cover.. the Rain was here.

Sitting in my screened porch I watch the drops fall.

My little heavenly spot on earth sighs, as the rain qenches its thirst.

The rain has passed and the thunder is once more in the distance.

Warning others to run for cover.
