The tragic final events of an explorer’s death.
I blow
below
the bellowing
cove.

Breathing
the breeze
away from
my bones,

frozen
and frigid
with fire
in mind,

waiting
for water
to wage
in low tide.

Heinous
hindsight
hindering
hope,

for freedom
from this
infamous
cove.

Far-flung
fog
filling
the air,

a sunken
ships scream
to much
to bear.

Yielding
a eulogy
on skippers
white skull,

Sleeping forever
beneath
her sunken
hull.
