Introspective self observation.
Looking out a window
And speaking to my wind
The guiding voices
That ride remorse’s

Every time I use harsh words
That cut clean holes
Into loving souls
I regret the next morning

The window becomes my gate
To put my mind in places
To give a painted comfort
To believe my selfish heart

That has always ran away mindless
Into my souls delight
Blind eyes into the night
I fight back my tears

To justify illusions
Cartoon intrusions
That move the chemicals
In my brain

And I shout out insanity
To ruin all that surrounds me
With my runaway madness
Captured inside my

Window’s blindness
