This is Chapter 1 of The Prophecy of the Advanced Era, or The Prophecy for short.
Now:
Phrasos stretched out in his portable fortress. He had worked on making the Earth a greener place all day and was completely spent. He couldn’t even will a molecule of oxygen to change into a molecule of carbon dioxide. He closed his eyes and saw the various elemental cubes of the Periodic Table of Elements. Phrasos sighed and collapsed into his bed for a fitful night’s sleep. He explored the unexplored regions of space and time. He found the ultimate elements and memorized their structures. He did not imagine any of this; he saw the entire scene through his own eyes without moving a muscle.
The next day, Phrasos rised from bed in a state of fatigue. After climbing into the shower, he willed the transformation of oxygen and hydrogen into a shower of water molecules. After showering, he changed the water back into its original state and dried himself off with a towel. While getting dressed, Phrasos reviewed his plan for the day. He could enter his laboratory, feed a few of his synthetic pets and then proceed to making this planet a better place. He ran his hand through his copper-colored hair once more before departing.
Phrasos arrived at his private laboratory. It used to be an abandoned house, but he spent an entire day renovating it for scientific use. He fed his pets, which were all made by synthetic means and DNA grafting, and proceeded to making the Earth a better place to live in. First, he travelled to a power plant and converted enough unusable energy into electricity to power ten entire cities. Next, he drifted over to multiple chemistry labs to rid the air of chemical gases and replaced it with fresh, breathable oxygen. Following that, Phrasos drifted over to a battleground… and was jolted back to his body in his lab as he heard muffled footsteps on the floor under him. The next thing he knew, he was bound and hurled into a hovertruck. There seemed to be a force blocking his abilities, so he struggled against the bonds.
“Don’t even try to break those chains. They are rated for a durability rating of 12 and will not break easily. If you do break the chains, there is nowhere for you to go. This truck only responds to a special tracking chip that you don’t possess.” The driver warned. Looking back at Phrasos, he beamed and said, “At last, I have found you. You put up good resistance, but you could only hold me off for a while.” Phrasos recognized his man; after all, how could he forget the face of his own father?
“It’s been a while, Father. Why are you still hunting me, forcing me to go back to that cursed laboratory? It is not a place where free men should live. That place is cursed, I say!” Phrasos struggled at his bonds, but he knew it was hopeless. Soon, he would arrive at the dreaded Lab for “testing.”
