Obscured sky,
The sun migrates,
Besprinkling the stars,
On an ancient canopy.
A pilgrim wanders,
Steered by light,
Diffusing from candlelight flies.
Crossing deserts, oceans and lands,
A jaded heart,
Befriends Ole Time.
Many moons slide,
Stars outshine,
Once sparkling eyes,
Of a wise sojourner,
His desire at once demised.
God take my sins,
For sorrow it fills,
Bewildered I am,
Where no man tread,
"Why am I here?"
He asks in prayer.
