A poem i wrote while i was bored during class.
Ah...The Pier.

Old man Gradovich's Pier.

I wonder what ever happened to him...

Such a nice man, Gradovich.

Always let us play on his Pier. remember that, Dieter?

He'd let us swim in the waves and the foam...

It was so nice back then.

Before the Depression.

Before the Hurricane.

Before...

Child's games, we played, you and I.

We'd feed the birds,

We'd chase the wind-blown paper across the wood.

It was study, majestic wood! Oak from the Borealis, it was!

So many good times we had on Gradovich's Pier, You and I.

Peter and Dieter, Two heroes of our imaginary kingdom on Gradovich's Pier.

But now the Kingdom is long forgotten...

The Majestic Pier is rotted and broken, grated by years of salt wearing and weather.

Old Man Gradovich is gone... Dead, I reckon.

The Gulls have flown far away...

The seas have turned gray with age...

The shore caked with debris from lost ships and trash...

And you aren't here
