The Truth

I’m proud to keep America free,
in days gone by and days to come.
It always takes both you and me!

Many times your freedom and
your history, have depended on me.
Yes many things are blamed on me.
Still it takes both you and me!

Others use me for tragic deeds,
murder rape and mostly greed.
I was there, but you can’t blame me.
It always takes both you and me.

My birth was not inspired by love
of animals or humanity.
I was born of necessity.
Still it takes both you and me!

I have no eyes with witch to see,
I have no feet to run away,
I have no hands to stop you.
Still it takes both you and me!

If my voice is heard, it’s too late!
You decide when and where I go,
If I hide or If I show.
Still it takes both you and me!

I can kill that’s true
but you MUST pull the trigger,
It ALWAYS takes both you and me!!!
