Life puts every one of us in different situations at different times. A situation is a set of surroundings, people and atmosphere which act individually and cumulatively on all the involved persons.

Not all situations turn out favorably to us.  Here is an approach to turning any situation to our favor.

There are certain prerequisites for achieving this approach to life. These are observation, perception, knowledge awareness and equanimity under all circumstances.

Observation is the activity of gathering visual information about the people  , the surroundings  and the place.This will lead to perception of the behavior, attitude and reactions of the persons in the given situation.

Perception is the key to knowledge of the reactions of people to different types of interactions in the given situation. This knowledge makes us aware of the interactions to use to obtain favorable reactions from the persons involved in the situation.

Last and the most important of all is to keep our own minds equanimous under all circumstances and never react to provocations of any type.

Adopting this approach to life will ease our way out of all difficult situations and result in favorable outcomes.
