I Wonder…




I wonder how they’ll react…when they see my face.

I wonder what they’ll think…when they see the change in pace.

I wonder what will hold them…to watch me.

I wonder if…anyone will admire me.

I wonder how hard…is it to truly shine.

I wonder if being on top…is truly divine.

I wonder how hard I have to work…to get what I want.

I wonder though…is it what I want?

I wonder if they will like me…love maybe.

I wonder if I can show them…the true me.

I wonder if they will be wowed…impressed even.

I wonder if they will hate me…think that I’m a heathen.

I wonder if I do make it to the top…could I ever come down?

I wonder if I could get ahead…and not utterly drown.

I wonder what he’ll think of me…when he sees my personality.

I wonder if he’ll think I’m cool…even crazy.

I wonder if he’ll recognize… all my wisdom.

Or will he just think its an impersonation?

I wonder if…I could really go the distance.

I wonder if…I could accomplish my dreams.
