The Gentle Spirit

I begin quite violently in my mind
Imagining long route of tortures
to vulnerable living souls
Except none too vulnerable to deceive
Only staying too true to themselves
Or perhaps their intact sanity
pushes them forward
and leaving me behind
Still imagining the sweet tortures
that never happened.
