get up and make the dream real
Today I am going to wake up and realize my dream. I am going to open my eyes and look at the world in a new way with a new guiding light. Today will be the first day of the revolution that will ensue with my awakening. It will start with one simple, tiny little step, winning the lottery. Easy enough, though filling out the tax forms will be a strenuous process. No matter, in order to achieve one must sacrifice. Once I’m secure with the money safely tucked away in several off-shore accounts, with some small investments in the States to keep the IRS busy, I would begin to live my dream. I’m getting the hell away from all these crazy jackasses that are around me. I’m going to some island where the fruit will be ripe; the fish will be fresh, the air clean and the silence so serene that it would almost drive a man insane if not for the crashing waves and gulls that fly over head. Or maybe off to some canyon filled land out west, where I can roam with the buffalo and hunt like the wolf. Building my own shelter and fire not because I’m bored but because without them I would surely die, that’s sounding like a dream. Maybe I’ll go to some old mountain range, no real reason to be there but I would imagine it would be some kind of change, no wait that’s one of Bob’s. Regardless of where I spend my dream the first step is to get up out of this damn bed, or chair, or off the floor, wherever I lay and start moving. Moving to the corner store to buy some lottery tickets and win that money, ah the beauty of dreams.
