A love poem with maths metaphors. Nothing serious.
Cauchy sequence, convergence true
That's the kind of love I feel for you
Always dependable, given N - and epsilon too
If you read this would you guess who?

I feel as irrational as pi over three
There's no chance for you and me
All the same, I continue to plea
Oh, won't you reciprocate and set me free?

It seems we exist in a rogue metric space
So far apart, even when face to face
Different circumstances, yet it's the case
That every time we meet I feel my heart race

Simultaneous equations, two trains in the night
If there weren't so many variables I'd put up a fight
Could you ever feel for me? I pretend you might
'Though thinking so only continues my plight

It's past time to stop and face reality
Under no differential conditions could you fall for me
My dream would require an abnormality
I need to be strong and leave you be
From now on, my solution is to flee.
