As The Sun Sets

As the sunsets the
Sky turns a lovely
Shade of pink
We watch the stars
Come out as we have
A drink
We talk about all
Things we have seen
And all the things we
Have done sense
We have been apart
While we watch the ships
Say by we start to remember
How things used to be when
We were kids
Following the lines in the sands
We talk of dreams that have passed
Us by dreams then we wish to have
Those dreams once again
I miss those summer days
When it was just us two
I hope to be with you again
