Once upon a star

I want to see so much
in vacant eyes,
your chivalry,
the 'accidental' touch.

I pretend to see,
all that could be,
but truly I see nothing.

I long for your touch,
to feel that spark,
but it isn't there.
Too scared of what it would mean,
to show, to feel.

But, sometimes, I wish.
