Why you?

I’m lost in this Madness

Painting pictures of past chances

Changing myself for the people I encounter

Dreaming of the people you once were

Placing you in all things around me

After so many years this shouldn’t matter



We spent along time together

With the bad outweighing the good

Hope you know what affect you had on me

I haven’t changed much

At least not in the minds that thought I should



If I wanted I could see you

Still in that circle I was once in

Those people you knew I disliked

Arrogant souls out to prove something



The dreams are getting harder to handle

You didn’t deserve what I gave you day in day out

Time is meant to be a healer

Could be due to that one side of you

Beauty and bliss filled with naughtiness

That I haven’t yet found in another



Rare and very powerful

It was there to start with but slowly faded

Became impossible to discover

Yes I left you without regret

Maybe I left something with you I cannot recover

Just wanting the dreams to stop



Even now I hear your name when reading this through

This could be never ending

Those lost years spent

I’m laying this shattered feeling to rest

You were not the one

Anger is becoming

Bitter hearted was never foreseen

I’m lost in this madness

What will the next dream bring?
