Whenever you look at me
I feel like you are looking through me
Like I’m as transparent as a ghost
That you can’t really see
I speak to you
And you hear what I say
But I don’t think you’re listening
I don’t think you’re absorbing the weight of my words
I feel like I’m just a plain white wall to you
If I’m anything to you at all
You just stare off into space at the wall
Just so that you don’t have to
Acknowledge that it actually exists
Because if it does not exist
You don’t have to deal with it
It hurts me
Knowing that you are able to act like I don’t exist
And that you’ve made me your own plain white wall
