Only For Them-A Thank You

They changed the world for me, because they mean the world to me. I try to imagine my life without them, and I can't. Nearly two years ago, I met two small country towns. If I had not gone there, not created bonds so strong with these people, I wouldn't be here today. I wouldn't be able to say thank you for all the help they gave me. All the love they showed me. And all the lessons they taught me. Now, as I look forward, I see an unnumbered amount of time without them. A terrible solution was at first all I saw. Suicide, one little act to end it all. I thought that since distance separated us, they wouldn't feel the pain of my decision, my only hope. I was wrong. They figured it out and confronted me about it. Eventually, we cried. When we cried, I realized that nothing had changed, distance didn't matter. That hurting myself would only hurt them more. They unknowingly saved my life. So now I would like to say thank you to these people. Thank you for everything. For caring about me, for loving me, for teaching me to love in return, for climbing the wall I surround myself with and worming your ways into my heart. I want you to know, I am only here for you. I dedicate my life to you. Whenever you need me, I will be at your side. I am forever indebted to you.
