Substance Abuse Essay

The overuse of a substance is what I refer to as substance abuse.VIRTUALLY( Pretty much )any substance in the world can be abused, whether or not it is detrimental to a person's well being or not. Although not everyone has had first hand experience with substance abuse and addiction, most people know something about it and have an opinion on it. In my eyes, most people are addicts, whether it be for morning coffee, or for a midnight snack. Some people are addicted to video games, some are addicted to driving recklessly. Everyone in the world has an addiction. When the addiction is to drugs or alcohol it is frowned upon because it (changes your state of mind from the norm.) OR



CAUSES BOTH PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL CHANGES.
