Invisible Perspective

I feel like a shadow to the world.

Watching from the sidelines,

Taking note of every experience of those around me,

yet having none of my own.

A silhouette,

waiting for the shade to drop.

Everyone is watching me,

but no one sees.

I don’t even know what I look like.

Do I have a reflection?

So envious, resentful, spiteful.

I hate them.

I am better than them.

But who am I?

A shadow to the world.
