Lost Love... for now..

         I looked around at the rain pouring down and in that instant I felt my heart melt. The sadness became overwhelming as I watched the car pull out of my driveway.  It was unbearable to think that my forever was driving away from me. Not only did he drive away but he drove away without explanation. Thoughts ran through my head trying to make me understand but every thought in my brain was cluttered about. I couldn’t even think as his car drove off and around the last corner my eyes could see. 

         He was gone finally out of sight. I had no escape plan because he had always been it.  I had nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.  Suddenly I felt my body grow feeble and frail. I needed to rest a minute but as I moved I suddenly felt my body just crash. Without a warning my knees hit the hard cement of the driveway. With a thud the rest of my body came down.

         Blood streaks coved the empty driveway as the rain washed it away from my head. I cried but I felt no pain. I was too numb at this point to realize how seriously I was hurt.  The sadness and grief was numbing. I could no longer hear or see as my world turned into a big black hole.
