The Two

Hope felt her soul tear and knew something was wrong. Her partner, her other half, she needed to find him. She knew he was hurt and he will die if she doesn't get to him soon. She finds him and he is dead. She lifts her head and starts to sing. Her voice ringgs out over the world. Everyone hears it, whether they know it or not. Sadness overwhelms people when her voice hits their ears. They grieve but do not know why nor what for. They cry and scream in agony as they feel her loss, her pain. It almost tears them apart,it almost sends them mad. Since then, that day was marked as the day of the greatest, most terrible loss and each year the whole world mourns on that day the loss of her conterpart, the loss of love.
