Story of Terra
Imagine if you will: Earth 100 years from now. Humans are on the brink of destruction, not just each other but the planet itself. We have killed most life on the planet and left most of it inhabitable. Humans now build skyscrapers so they may live about the suffocating thick green clouds that block out the sun and kill the crops that humans need to feed on. War is a regular occurrence and nuclear war is now a reality as well as a daily fear. Monstrous creatures now walk the land and those who are not lucky enough to live in these expensive towers of false hope either become food for these beasts or die from lack of food or atomic winters.
The powers that be (whatever you want to call it Allah, Buddha, Jesus hell you can call it George for all I care) saw this and felt sorry for the humans but were angry for them wasting their gift of the once beautiful marble that is a mere shell of its self. It thought how could we punish the humans yet show them mercy. The powers that be thought about this for a year before deciding to destroy the earth yet in its place they would build a new world and give the humans a second chance. One day, two massive heavenly bodies hurdled at the dead earth and with a massive explosion, wiped the earth mars and Venus as well as our moon. The objects being made entirely of energy, the objects start to draw in the rubble of the planets and begin to create a new planet. As they formed, 6 guardian spirits were created.
Pyrus, the phoenix: guardian of all bird creatures
Romulan, the wolf: guardian of all canine creatures
Siren, the mermaid: guardian of all sea folk
Gaia, the fairy: guardian of all fairy-like creatures
Sayre, The reaper: guardian of all death creatures (vampire, specter, necromancy)
Odin, the hunter: guardian of all human and humanoid creatures
When all the chaos and reconstruction came to an end, the world now was controlled by a new race. A new race known as Cyas. They walked and talk like humans as well as lived in civilized societies but unlike humans they have animal features and resembled animals. If we saw them now they would be called anthropomorphic. In place of the humans now the Cyas rule. Along side them now those beasts we wrote about and dreamed about now walk along the streets and work the same jobs as the anthropomorphic creatures, such as elves and orcs. Humans still exist in this world mind you but punishment for their misuse of their gift they are now the lowest on the food chain and are seen as stupid and inferior. This is the opening of my world….
