Happy Stance

My happiness stems from knowing
That I am one blessed man

That the Master has a plan for me
My life is in His hands

He was so patient waiting for me
To see the light He shines

To know how much He loves me
Leaving my old life behind

I've come to know my savior well
And what he did for me

He broke the bonds that Satan tied
Thereby I've been set free

I'm told to wear a suit of armor
Against the devil's schemes

A belt of truth around my waist
Helps tremendously it seems

I'll wear my helmet of salvation
The spirit's sword clutched in my hand

With the mighty Holy Word of God
Together we'll take a stand
