Childhood memories in expectation of the first winter snowfall. Nice memories.
The smell of Apple cider, Oh! How Sweet.
The cider and autumn tree colors, the emotions it provokes
This time raises anticipation for winter snow
That first snow, Oh! What wondrous memories
Waiting waiting with winter just out of reach
Colder weather teasing quietly without much sound

The wind changes direction with a swish of sound
The smell of the wind so crisp, clean and sweet
The season of winter will soon be within reach
Anticipation and contemplation are emotions it provokes
The old restlessness of the past that remains in our memories
Oh please Oh please waiting is heartless, Please let it snow.

The beat comes faster, the moisture a tease, oh is it snow?
The winds whip faster increasing the beat’s sound
Swish Whoosh of the winds, the trigger of winter memories
Bring us the moisture to make winter so sweet
No moisture today, oh what frustration it provokes
The wind, the cold but moisture just out of reach

All the needed moisture needed will soon be in reach
Such anticipation for that fabulous first winter snow
Oh what intense static electricity it provokes
The dryness is so intense there is such a crackling sound
The zap that is painful and not so sweet
Will a real winter this year be a part of distant memories?

First snowfall of winter’s past, such precious memories
Do you feel the moment, the joy just in reach?
A snowflake on your tongue tasting even so sweet
To dance, run and play in earth’s coating of snow
Expectations making a twinkling sound
Childhood excitement, a feeling it provokes

A possible snowflake such emotions it provokes
The season has finally come and given time to the memories
A quiet all around, not a single sound
It has finally come, no more reason to reach
Morning wakes to a blanket of snow
Hot chocolate for everyone and marshmallows to make it sweet

Childhood memories are always in reach
Try and remember more than winter’s snow
You never know, the others could be ever so sweet
