The best advice is simple to give but hard to achieve...
Listen My Sons

One day you will try to decide
How much of me is part of you,
How much of your mother is tucked away in there,
How the Angels your mother believes
Watch over us can even exist...

But we’re there…

Yet, my guess is there will be times
When you’re not certain
How you feel about this answer...

The truth is,
the answer doesn’t matter.

At the end of the day,
When your tale has been told,
And your reckoning is at hand,
You still must have made all the choices.

Of us,
Our reach ends
When you find your own way,
As will happen,
With the hope we’ve prepared you well,
With a prayer you find happiness,
With a desire to catch you if you fall.

It’s that simple,
Though too many find it difficult
To reconcile the world within them
To the world without...

Too many miss out
On the rewards that exist
Behind life's
most fundamental lessons
Of courage, conviction, failure...

Goodness versus evil and fear...

And the weight this bears against
personal satisfaction.

Like the ink in a great story,
These are but tools that require
A masterful hand
To shape the ending you want.

And it's your book.
