Fear

I do not fear death,
For I know my time will come,
I do not fear pain,
For I’ve known it for so long,
I do not fear darkness,
For it’s the void I’ve always known,
I do not fear light,
For hope it will one day lead me home,
I do not fear Hell,
For I know I’ve been there before,
I do not fear Heaven,
For I don’t belong there anymore,
I do not fear the unknown,
For nothing more can harm me,
I do not fear the future,
For it is not known what will be,
I do fear the emptiness,
That has always surrounded my soul,
I do fear the possibility,
That I will always be alone.
