A short story about a dog who could'nt say no to his taste buds... |
[Introduction]
*All names are ficticous, to save them the embarressment. It all started when Mrs. Jones brought "Rex" in for a check-up, you see he was'nt feeling well. He would'nt eat, he would just look at the food longingly, but not eating. Dr. Smith asked Mrs. Jones some questions to further asses the situation. It went something like this, "So Mrs. Jones has "Rex" eaten anything unusual?" "No, I don't think so." "Have you fed him anything unusal?" "No" "Have you noticed anything missing from around the house, that he may have swallowed?" "No" "Well i'm not sure what we can do, let's give him some time." "Okay" This Q and A session happened about three times. Finally Dr. Smith Decided to do go inside the dog and check everything out. Dr. Smith made the incision into the stomach...and what in the world is that...is that what i think it is, O MY GOD! Is that a piece of Carpet, Indeed a three foot by four foot piece of yellow shag carpet, with all kinds of different foods stuck to it that Mrs. Jones had tried to make "Rex" eat. Dr. Smith decided that he would ask Mrs. Jones again if she had noticed anything missing from around the house, before he told her what he had found. when probing farther she finally admitted that there was a "Small strip of carpet missing from her living room...needless to say "Rex" had quite an appitite for his "Dog Food" so that's the story of a golden retrievers taste bud's gone wrong. |
