, I took a trip to Mt. Airy,Nc with a group of ladys from the YMCA.
On Friday October 16 I took a trip up to Andy Griffin's hometownof MT. Airy, NC. I went with a group of ladys from the YMCA to the cite that inspired the small town of Mayberry. As we rode up the mountain on that cool morning, I drank a cup of just enough coffee without spilling it on myself as we went over the speedbumps leaving the Y's parking lot..

On the way up we passed so many colorful trees that were shades of yellow orange, and red. The town of Mt.Airy reminded me of a seience out of the old west. There was a gentleman there giving rides on his horse drawn carriage. the weather was kind of overcast not to hot and not too cool. I tried to walk through the small town but it was hard on my knees so I just hopped on the horse drawn carriage and rode through and seen the whole town. A few people ate lunch at a small diner called Snappy's Lunch and some ate at Barney's Cafe. Then we rode up to get some apples and other vegtables at the nearest farmers market. When I got home I was so tried! But it was a good day.
