The Host Model of Earth

The Host Model of Earth is a theoretical cosmology which proposes that the continents of Planet Earth are not randomly drawn topographical figures. According to this view the American continents represent the hind legs of a planetary being, the African continent represents its fore legs, and the creature's head is found in the vicinity of Europe. This may seem fairly dramatic, but even more so is the ability to locate the Italian peninsula in a purely representational context.
