a song of trust and friendship |
I saw Jesus walking down the street I said....hey where you going man wanna take a ride with me he said....if you going my way I will surely take the seat he sat and buckled up and we were on the way I lit a stogie and asked if he wanted some he said....oh no thank you man I need to stay clean so I continued south on highway twenty-one ride the highway ride the highway with Jesus at my side He said....he was going to Brick City cause he wanted to see why the children there were all singing for redemption my children are crying for me to set them free and I want to give them love and hope and the power of exemption so I took my stogie and tossed it out my window as I continued south on highway twenty-one ride the highway ride the highway with Jesus at my side I turned on my radio cause it was such a ride Elvis and his zoo crew were having fun with a few and soon me and Jesus were laughing hard as hell too he was jigging to the music and popping funnies to rock I had a hard time believing that this man could mock I forgot where I was going cause he had me on such a roll so I kept on riding on highway twenty-one ride the highway ride the highway with Jesus at my side As we reached our destination I turned left onto Mill Street we were in Brick City on the north end as I decided to stay awhile with my new friend he said....thank you man I can use your company cause when I talk to my children you will be my guarantee I felt a tear in my eye as I parked the car I said....I've only been with you bout sixty minutes and I know who you are he said....yes...cause you let me in your life when I sat in your car |
