Each month, ten new prompts will be given. The contest is for new poems, to inspire each writer to enter a newly written poem. Each person may enter one poem month - the only requirement is that you must enter your poem in a bitem format. A little bit about Lawrence . I was a member of Writing.com and ran monthly contests, but I had to depart for a season in order to bring my health up to par. Now that I am back, as Lawrence; my previous penname was 'kansaspoet,' I look forward to running this contest. Here are the rules. 1. One poem entered per month per person. The poem entered must be newly written to one of the ten given prompts. 2. Use one of the ten prompts for the title of your poem or use it internally within the poem. The poem doesn't not have to use one of the prompts as a title, as long as the prompt is used within the body of the poem. 3. The rating for the poem must be +18 and below. Nothing that should be rated above +18 will qualify. 4. Enter your poem in the bitem format. (If you don't understand the bitem format, please send an email.) See: "Invalid Item" 5. There is no form requirement; express yourself in your chosen way. Here are the prizes: 1st place - an awardicom of my choice or 10,000 gps 2nd place - 7,000 gps 3rd place - 5,000 gps I will glady accept donations and list them here, but there are no entry fees for poems.
