A letter to convince Dr. Seuss to let me be his party planner.
Dr. Seuss on the loose

This letter is written to, My dear Dr. Suess.
Yesterday I met Thidwick, The Big-hearted Moose.
A party's in the offing is what he said.
I have splenderous ideas bouncing 'round in my head.

For the menu we'd surely have plenty of fish,
Red ones and blue ones served up on a dish.
If you're fond of meat like Sam and I am,
We could serve Who-beast or Green Eggs and Ham.

From Truffula Trees, with the use of a winch,
We'll hang a pinata shaped like the Grinch.
There'll be grocery-sack races for both kinds of Sneetches
While we sit on the sidelines and pelt them with peaches.

If you don't provide music folks'll think you're a loser.
I know of a Flummox who can play three-nozzled bloozer.
A sing-along always or sometimes is nice.
I'll throw in sheet music for a very low price.

A fun party guest is a fellow named Zax.
And maybe the Grinch will send his dog Max.
I suggest you invite little Cindy-Lou Who,
But, of course, the guest list is all up to you.

Now, as to the venue for this cool party scene,
We could rent the big house of Shel Silverstein.
To get there you travel around three curvy bends.
You'll know the place, it's Where The Sidewalk Ends.

So please, Dr. Seuss, let me take care of your party.
I promise, you and your friends will all party hardy.
You know, you're my favorite. Leave the planning to me.
Grant me this wish and I'll do it for FREE!!
