GREEN TEA

Green Tea

When sipping liquid botany
More than water is infused
Clear green warmth calms me
When I am tired or confused

When my soul’s cup is full to brim
I do need this leaf-based broth
Letting my mind slow down and swim
Considering each step as a sloth

Nature’s sacrificial cup now empty
I once again feel blissfully in tune
This tranquil herb like an apothecary
Heals from dawning sun to fading moon


How wonderful is God, that he created all that we need to remain in
health. He created a wealth of herbs and green things for our benefit
and enjoyment.



Genesis 1:29-Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the
face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it.
They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds
of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has
the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food."
And it was so. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
