Old journal entry found in the wake of a fire and several mysterious murders.
Long have I wondered what it was that set me apart from this world.  I realize now what it is, and it's truly astounding to me that i had not realized so sooner.  Why I was always different, why I never seemed to fit anywhere, is because I am not one of them.  These... creatures... that I have encountered my whole life are little more than livestock. Sheep.  They conform too one another, Leading lives of repetition and drudgery enslaved by there ignorance, shackled by there fear, and blinded to it all by there masters.  And so, the sheep live out there days under the watchful eye of there pathetic leaders, there... shepherds.  It is obvious to me now, painfully so, what it was that the livestock had so feared in me.  A predator.  I am a wolf among sheep.

                        And wolves must hunt.
