They rhyme...That's about it. Meaningless. Drivel. Nonsense.
DITHERY DUNSTAN DUNDERFIELD
Dithery Dunstan Dunderfield,
Could not sign his name,
And so retired to his room,
Riffled through with shame.

The next day he tried again
To write his title down,
But could muster no lines anywhere,
But crisscrossing his own frown.

On the third day he cracked his fingers
And sat in Zen-like pose
And managed a D, and managed a U,
But extended no further his prose.

On the final day of Dunstan’s plight,
He took his fountain pen,
And scribbled down beside the U,
“I shan’t try this again.”

DONKEY'S EARS
The donkey and his cart-master,
Were by the roadside once.
The master ate a beefsteak,
The donkey sugar-lumps.
This donkey (rather unimpressed)
With his given treat,
Began to relish, with longing eyes,
A much, much sweeter meat.
And so the donkey opened wide
And drew very near,
And with his great big donkey jaws
He chomped his master’s ear.

PAW'S OFF
The kitten and his fishy friend,
Were clearly at their tethers’ end –
This cat just thought that fish might be
A superb supper (or a tea).
But when that silly kitty reached
Into that bowl, he - suddenly - screeched.
For the fiendish fish had eaten the paw!
That hungry, toothy, PIRANHA.

HOT-HEAD
Poor little Mikey,
Thought his hair looked spikey.
And so he put (to flatten it down)
A searing hot iron on his crown –
And killed himself in a really grisly fashion.
