commiting suicide
Does it need a label,
can't it just be.
They will say it was sad,
a tragedy,
but I say my death will be the greatest gift I could ever give.
To my daughter,
I'm sorry I couldn't be a better father to you,
I'm glad John is there so you know what a father is.
To my family,
love each other knowing that we aren't promised tomorrow,
learn what not to be by watching me.
To my mother,
I'll never understand why you didn't care anymore,
you watched this happening.
To my dad,
I'll never understand why you couldn't understand I was really hurt,
why you thought you couldn't help.
It will be better when all that's left is the memory,
because then all of you can make me be whatever you want me to be.
I wanted to die,
be thankful I finally did something I set out to do.
