A BIRTHDAY TOAST

Family and Friends come together today to celebrate the beginning of another year in Charlotte Beckner’s life.

Time and everyday life move along so swiftly that sometimes we may forget the things that mean the most to us.
Family and Friends, fore these are the staples of Life.
This is the one true gift which significantly impacts our daily existence.
The love and relevance that this daily gift brings to us is beyond simple words, it is something that is shown on a loved one’s face or in their voice as they speak
Simple gestures such as a pat on the back or a touch of one’s hand, shows the love that someone feels inside for you.

Charlotte–
Her body moves with the grace of European royalty.
The tone of her voice still carries that same Russian flair from years gone by.
Matriarch, Loving, Kind, Intelligent and Witty are just a few of the words that can be used to describe her.
Laughter fills the room as she tells one of her humorously written stories, and brows lift and furrow together as she recites one of her more seriously crafted yarns.

Charlotte Olecknovitch Beckner has moved us all with her strength of character, family loyalty and in all that she does to show and make the world around her a better place for her children, grandchildren and future great-grandchildren in which to live.

Sharing and teaching all of her age-old Russian family traditions with family and friends.
Lovingly passing along the culture in which she grew up with, so that everyone in her present can become a part of her past.

Always inviting old friends and new alike to come to her home and celebrate all occasions~ those on the calendar and not!
For the consummate hostess she is always ready with a huge grin and a big hug to greet everyone into her manor.
These are the times I will always remember, gathering on the huge porch sipping a drink and chatting the time away.
Relaxing, fun and oh, so many stories told.
The pinging of the glass, as a toast is about to be made……
